Our Core Beliefs

We believe in holding firm to the truth of Scripture while remaining humble and gracious toward one another. These core beliefs reflect our commitment to the essentials of the Christian faith:

God

There is one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—eternally existing and sovereign over all. He reveals Himself through creation, Scripture, and Jesus Christ.

Acts 17:22–28; Romans 1:20; Ephesians 4:6

Jesus Christ

Jesus is the one and only Son of God. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and now reigns in heaven. He desires a deep and personal relationship with every person.

Luke 4:43; John 1:1–14; John 3:16; Philippians 2:5–11; 1 Corinthians 15:3–5

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit lives within believers, empowering them for holy living, service, and spiritual growth. He convicts, guides, comforts, and transforms us.

John 14:16–17; John 16:7–13; Acts 2:38; Galatians 5:16–26

Salvation

All have sinned, but all can be saved. Salvation is a free gift of grace through Jesus Christ—received by faith and expressed through confession, repentance, and baptism.

John 3:16–18; Acts 2:38; Romans 3:22–26; Romans 10:9

The Church

The Church is Christ's body on earth. Empowered by the Spirit, we are called to love, serve, and help each other grow as disciples of Jesus.

1 Corinthians 12:27; Ephesians 4:11–16; John 13:34–35

Humanity

All people are made in God's image. Though we are separated from Him by sin, God pursues us with love and grace, calling us into relationship and renewal.

Genesis 1–3; Isaiah 59:1–2; Romans 3:22–24

The Bible

The Bible is the inspired Word of God and the ultimate authority for our lives. It reveals God's character, purposes, and guidance for how we are to live.

Psalm 19:7–11; 2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21

Christian Life

We are called to imitate Christ—loving God, loving others, and living with integrity and purpose. Spiritual disciplines like prayer, Bible study, and worship shape us into His likeness.

Mark 8:34–35; Mark 12:30–31; Romans 6:1–4

Christ's Return

Jesus will return to judge the world and bring restoration to all things. Believers will dwell with God forever.

Acts 1:11; 2 Thessalonians 1:6–10; Revelation 21–22

Scripture That Shapes Us

These verses are foundational to our vision, mission, and daily practice as apprentices of Jesus:

Matthew 22:37–40 – The Greatest Commandments

Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'
This is the first and greatest commandment.
And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'
All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

Deuteronomy 6:4–5 – The Shema

"Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength."

Matthew 28:18–20 – The Great Commission

Then Jesus came to them and said,
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

John 13:34–35 – A New Command

"A new command I give you: Love one another.
As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

John 15:12–13 – Sacrificial Love

"My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends."
